I'm a super organised Mum of two older teenagers, with decades of senior administration experience and accounting type roles. (No I wasn't a boring beige-sock-wearing bean counter!) From bumper bars, Holden Cars, to B-Doubles, I've worked with people from all walks of life over the years and have learnt a lot about human beings in the process.

I've been a Justice of the Peace (JP) for NSW since 2016 and hold a current 1st Aid, CPR Certificate. Also up on my wall is a certificate III in Education Support (Teacher's Aide). In 2022 I completed a rigorous Certificate IV in Civil Celebrancy  (a Requirement for Commonwealth Registration).

I power through tasks and like to be 'in front' of things. I love to write and have always been told I do it well! A stickler for punctuality and producing work of a high standard. So, these traits work kinda well for a celebrant!  Along with a cheeky sense of humour!

Originally from Melbourne I relocated to the Mid North Coast with my family in 2013. We adore the coastal lifestyle, and this nurtures my absolute love for the beach, it's my happy place year-round; I have solved many a problem sitting atop a rock! Sadly during 2018 my husband passed from brain cancer. It was a really difficult time before, during and after. It was the most confronting, surreal and most challenging time of my life, from the beginning with the diagnosis, to his inevitable death. Going through something like that, can't not change you. That experience has certainly given my daughters and I a different perspective on life!!

So I like to appreciate life, have some fun, laugh, laugh a LOT!  Enjoy the simple things, and don't sweat the small stuff.

Outside of me loving my work, a few of my favourite things include sunny days, relaxing at the beach, exploring new places, (including op shops!) swimming and walking our beautiful dog, Raffy. Indoor plant obsessed, I find baking therapeutic and most of the time, if I do bake, I gift my efforts, it's nice to do. I enjoy BBQs with friends or catching up for a cheeky drink occasionally.
